Where we are,
one summer in.

A short note on where Oasis stands as the ground lease, the capital raise, and the first founding members all start to come together at once.

The land is real now. We've finalized the ground sublease with Griffin Brothers for roughly four acres at 448 Remount Road, and the entity — Oasis Wellness Sanctuary, LLC — is officially on file with the state. Our architect of record, AIA/NOMA/NCARB credentialed, is deep into the scope that will take us from where we are now to permitted drawings.

On capital: we're building toward a $10M stack across four legs — a $5M philanthropic and venture-philanthropy pathway through Abundance Capital, $5M in private LP equity at an 8% preferred return, pre-opening founding memberships, and city and foundation grant support. The City of Charlotte's Economic Development Council has confirmed a presentation on a $500K–$1.5M grant pathway this August.

On membership: we have our first four founding members, and a growing interest list behind them. If you've been thinking about it, now is genuinely the moment — the rate you join at is the rate you keep for the life of your membership.

On partnership: Shawn McStravick's tea program, early conversations with a regional performing arts partner on dome acoustics, and a potential 100 Gardens aquaponics partnership are all moving from concept to scope. Fifteen-plus practitioners are already in our pipeline.

None of this is finished, and I'll keep telling you where the real risk sits, not just the wins. Thank you for paying attention this early. It means something.
