your philanthropy.

You already gave it away. Now put it to work in a powerful way. Donor-advised funds hold over $250 billion in committed philanthropic capital. Your family's giving is ready to move. Oasis Wellness Sanctuary is ready to receive it.

What Oasis Is

A botanical wellness sanctuary.
In Brookhill. Opening 2028.

Oasis Charlotte is a 200-foot geodesic dome on a ground lease in Brookhill — one of Charlotte's oldest African American communities, redlined for decades and now facing displacement as South End grows around it. Oasis is being built on that land, by an African American developer born and raised in Charlotte.

Inside: a year-round tropical botanical atrium, four elemental healing satellite structures (Water, Fire, Air, Ether), a tea lounge, integration lounge, meditation garden, and a weekly community gathering open to Brookhill residents at no cost.

Why Philanthropists

Why would a philanthropist
want to be part of this?

Your DAF capital isn't passive. When directed through an IRS-approved venture philanthropy intermediary, it generates a documented social return — and returns to your fund to give again.

The DAF Pathway

How the
pathway works.

Venture philanthropy through a Donor Advised Fund is a structured, IRS-compliant pathway. Here's how it flows.

01

You direct

Your family directs your DAF through Abundance Capital, the IRS-approved venture philanthropy intermediary.

02

Capital flows

Abundance Capital invests in Oasis Wellness Sanctuary on documented social impact terms with full IRS compliance.

03

Impact verified

Social outcomes are measured and confirmed with Abundance Capital and David Hunt. Annual impact reporting to your family.

04

DAF replenishes

Your philanthropy is recycled. Capital returns to your DAF at 8% preferred return. The sanctuary opens.

We are seeking $5,000,000 through the DAF venture philanthropy pathway. Minimum direction: $100,000 per family. Capital is aggregated through Abundance Capital or Impact Foundation.

Through the DAF pathway

At stabilization — typically 12–18 months after opening — Oasis Wellness Sanctuary will pursue refinancing against its demonstrated asset value and cash flow. A portion of directed capital is returned to your DAF at that point. The 8% preferred return continues on remaining invested capital through the 7-year term.
